Bill's Strength Timeline

-Mount Sinai High School: I started lifting weights freshmen year for wrestling and, by sophomore year, I was hooked. By junior year, my career aspirations were decided.

-Winthrop University (September 2005-May 2010): With my goal of becoming a strength coach in mind, I attended Winthrop University where I earned a bachelor's degree in fitness and wellness with a minor in coaching. During my sophomore year, I started personal training students and faculty, as well as training and mentoring overweight children under the Fit Kids program. During my senior year, Winthrop University named me intern of the year as a result of my efforts through my 560 hour sports performance coach internship at Velocity Sports Performance in Charlotte, NC.

-Stony Brook University Internship, Personal Training, and Infiniti Sports Performance (May 2010-July 2011): Stony Brook University accepted me to intern under their NCAA Division I Strength and Conditioning program. While at SBU, I worked with the football, men's basketball, and women's basketball team. After interning at Stony Brook, I personal trained at a local civilian gym, while simultaneously coaching at Infiniti Sports Performance. My coaching at Infiniti and the civilian gym consisted of me running a strong man and crossfit inspired group fitness class, running speed & agility/sports performance programs, and personal training people of all ages and skill levels. While coaching, I continued my education endeavors, earning my USAW and CSCS certifications. I found true love in July 2011, when I competed in my first strongman competition.

  - Converse College Head Strength and Conditioning Coach (August 2011-November 2013): In August 2011, I became the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. At Converse, I was in charge of all 10 sports' (volleyball, soccer, cross country, golf, swimming, basketball, equestrian, lacrosse, tennis and track & field) strength and conditioning programs. It was a dream come true; 23 years old, and running a D2 college program. Being that young with that much responsibility was an incredible learning experience.

-Stony Brook University Assistant Director of Athletic Performance (November 2013- August 2015): I moved back to NY, to start my position at Stony Brook University. At SBU, I assisted with football and was in charge of the strength programs for baseball, men's lacrosse, women's basketball and volleyball. During my time there the baseball team won the American East Conference and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, men's lacrosse spent most of the 2015 year ranked in the top 15 and women's basketball reached the post season in both years. Without this opportunity to learn from other strength and sport coaches I wouldn't be half the man or coach I am today.
-Trinity College Head Strength and Conditioning Coach (September 2015-Present): I moved across the Long Island Sound to Connecticut to become a Head Strength Coach again. At Trinity I oversee the strength and conditioning programs for all 29 sports and directly run the program for Football, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Men's/Women's Basketball, Men's/Women's Swimming, Men's/Women's Squash, Women's Ice Hockey, Wrestling, Baseball and Women's Lacrosse.

-Random Tidbits: In addition to my coaching, I also write for Stack.com and BreakingMuscle.com. I enjoy video editing and create all the videos on my YouTube. I have competed in powerlifting and as well as 13 strongman competitions. I like weights.
